Your Celtic tour begins with a two night stay in a luxurious room at the Dromoland Castle, one of the world’s finest hotels, and a full day tour to the Cliffs of Moher. You’ll also enjoy a relaxing, but elegant, welcome reception where you will meet your fellow travelers. Then, it’s onto Killarney for two nights at the delightful Marlton Hotel. From its distinctive architecture to its effortless service and genuine hospitality, you’ll view acres of gardens in the center of a bustling town. From here, choose between the Ring of Kerry, the Gap of Dunloe or the Blarney Castle tours. For the last part of your trip, hop on the train to Dublin, Ireland’s capital city where you’ll enjoy Dublin Castle, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Trinity College and the colorful and iconic Doors of Dublin, while traveling to the Westbury Hotel … your home for the next two nights.

This trip will include:

  • Roundtrip economy airfare from New York or Los Angeles to Shannon, Ireland
  • Deluxe accommodations: two nights in luxury rooms at the Dromoland Castle, one of the most romantic and picturesque castles; two nights at the elegant Malton Hotel in Killarney, known for its distinctive architecture and six acres of garden in the center of town; and two nights at the stylish and deluxe Westbury Hotel, located in the heart of Dublin City.
  • Participate in breakfast seminars and hospital visits in both Dromoland and Dublin and receive up to 10.0 contact hours of continuing education.
  • Join your fellow travelers for a welcome cocktail reception, daily breakfast, pub lunches, local restaurant dinners, a lunch and tour at the famous Old Jameson Distillery and an amazing private farewell dinner experience at the Malahide Castle.
  • Tours included in the package are: full day tour of the famous Cliffs of Moher; optional tours to the famous Ring of Kerry, the Gap of Dunloe or the Blarney Castle; first class train from Killarney to Dublin; half day city overview of Dublin; and an evening coastal ride to the village of Malahide.

Pre-Tour Option to London
May 18-22, 2011

Stay three nights at the 4-star Radisson Bloomsbury Street Hotel, located in the center of London, just a few minutes from Oxford Street, the Tottenham Court Road tube station and adjacent to the British Museum. Discover the wonderful city of London with your guide and see the world famous sights of Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, Big Ben, and Harrods. You’ll also see many historic sights including Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the Inns of Court. Visit the famous shopping avenues of Oxford Street, Bond Street and Regent Street where you’ll find many famous department stores.

You’ll also tour Windsor Castle, the favorite Royal Residence of Queen Elizabeth II, and drive alongside the banks of the River Thames to nearby Runnymede. Enjoy a private dinner with wine in top celebrity chief restaurant, Bentley’s, to wrap up your trip to London. On Sunday, May 22, 2011, you’ll depart from Heathrow airport to Shannon.

The optional pre-tour will include airfare from London to Shannon, all coach transfers, local guide assistance, hospitality desk on arrival, dinner at a local pub, half-day London Panoramic Orientation tour, half-day Windsor Tour and a private dinner at Bentley’s restaurant.

Post-Tour Option to Scotland
May 28-31, 2011

Following the conclusion of the main tour, fly from Dublin to Edinburgh, Scotland. You will be staying three nights at the historic Edinburgh Waterloo Place, a 4-star hotel, close to Edinburgh’s attractions. Spend the day on the Loch Lomond, the Highlands & Stirling Castle, where Mary Queen of Scots was crowned, and the beautiful nature and forests of Scotland’s first National Park. You’ll then enjoy the view of the Loch Lomond from the Inversnaid Hotel or walk along part of the West Highland Way.

The optional post-tour will include all coach transfers, local guide assistance, hospitality desk upon arrival, half-day city sightseeing tour, full day scenic tour of the Highlands and two dinners in local restaurants.

Single supplement – additional $760

Pre-Tour – England - $1,490*

Post-Tour – Scotland - $1,335*
Single supplement – additional $370

*Prices based on a New York departure. Add $180 for a Los Angeles departure. A $100 per person Early Bird Discount is available for reservations/deposits received prior to December 31, 2010.

A deposit of $500 per person is required for the Main Tour. An additional deposit of $100 each is required for Main Tour participants also going on the optional pre-tour and/or post-tour. Deposits are refundable, minus a $30 administrative fee, until 60 days prior to the tour departure.

Elizabeth G. Rudolph, RN, MSN, JD, is an attorney and nurse with many years experience practicing health care law in Memphis, Tennessee. She obtained her bachelors in nursing and masters in nursing from Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. She also received her law degree from Vanderbilt University.

Rudolph is a nationally renowned speaker on legal issues in nursing and legal nurse consulting. She has spoken at over a thousand conferences, seminars and workshops.
Rudolph has authored numerous publications on legal and nursing issues, many of which are available in books, courses and CDs. She has been the subject of many published articles and featured in network television programming.
